hello, you know if you have an 60 hz monitor and you playing with 125fps it's running very smooth, as back in time with 100 fps and 100 hz. the thing is a newer monitor is just mega expensive to have at UHD 144hz... or even in 2560x1440p it does cost already the double. did you notice any different for example in gameplay with a real 144hz monitor in game? fx in compare to 60hz and 125 fps ? it should be as smoothed in 4K with 60 hz and 125fps? |

No. 144hz is a night and day difference from 60hz You can get a 1080p 144hz monitor for pretty cheap these days Can't comment on the 4K stuff never played anything on it Edited by rav, Oct 26 2017, 01:02 PM.

Yeah defiantly is worth it, currently ive got a 240hz benq. I've skipped the 144hz monitorzzz. 60hz to 144hz is like rav mentioned night and day. 144hz to 240hz has a notable difference but it isn't as big of a difference going from 60 to 144hz logically. |

I was afraid of that at first seeing in theory you would need to run them stable at 240fps. but in practice with csgo it works fine running on 220 stable fps. I haven't tried any other games with it 240hz though seeing I play the remainder of the games on the living room tellie :D If I got the time for it lol Edited by Olaf, Nov 3 2017, 05:43 PM.

This is an old thread, but fuck it... If you can get a 144hz monitor or 240hz monitor do it man, massive difference. I was playing Quake Champions on a 4k 55" TV (at 1080P) at 60hz for a few months all sad because my reaction times were evidently shit compared to back in the day, and I was 'getting old' and all that. I was coming middle of the pack in FFA and in team games, not doing terrible but not doing good either. Then I got a 240hz 27" monitor. freakinG HELL. It is a world of difference, maybe it is exaggerated for me because I was playing on a TV before and you will not see as much difference if you were previously on a 1ms/60hz monitor perhaps, but for me it has been light and day. Now my ranking has shot up in Quake Champions and I am finishing top for damage in majority of the TDM games I am playing - a massive improvement. It was not my age that stole my reaction times, but a bad gaming setup :--) So yeah, DO IT. Edited by timmy-h, Jun 15 2018, 05:06 AM.
