Ah I see. Thought it could've just been a GPU driver update so people with similar GPUs would get the same problem at once. Didn't know there was a Half-Life Steam update since I was away from my computer :>

Anyway, forwarded this issue to YaLTeR, hopefully a fix is coming?
I hope so otherwise I may not continue playing.

i think after last update startup paramets in ag dosent work anymore ... i try to forced resolution using -w 800 -h 600 and nothing happen, try othen startup paramets and nothing happen, but in hl all work good.

But izzo is smart :D so guys try this trick , add your paramets in half life and try to forced launch ag from half life :D

open game library, right button on half Life, properies, game parametr , and add

worked like a charm. those who play HL:DM tho this could be annoying to have to change ur launch option everytime so all u gotta do is go to your steam hl folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\ look for HL.exe and create a shortcut to it and then put your normal launch options behind the target "C:\blahblah\hl.exe" -nomsaa -nofbo -game ag. Make sure that you have those three launch options or it wont work.

Okay so I'm having a new issue. The problem I had with the bars is completely fixed. The problem is that I get a weird mouse lag when I first join the game. Always. If I hit the ~ key and go to console it disappears. Once I fix the mouse issue I get this unexplained FPS (or refresh rate) lag. It feels like I'm stuck at 30fps or 30hz. Once I go to 1920 x 1080 it disappears. I don't understand.

I'm using a 144hz monitor at 120hz like I've been using for years. Going back to 75 hz, even if it worked, would be painful.

Hey guys, another update!

- Added cl_autowepswitch.
- Added clientside autojump, enabled by default. Just hold +jump and it'll do its thing. You can turn it off with cl_autojump.
- Added zpecial and _zpecial which do what you would expect.
- Added the `append` command as an alternative to special. This one is kind of tricky to explain, but basically `append <something>` puts `something` into the end of the command buffer (just like `special` puts `_special` into the end of the command buffer). If that helps, `zpecial` is just an alias for `append _zpecial`.

About the recent Steam or whatever update which broke things: I'm not sure what it's about and how to deal with it, but I'm fairly certain I cannot do anything about it from within OpenAG without doing VAC-sketchy stuff.

Finally I can upgrade my Half-Life to the latest version instead of using the old 6027 build, now that there's autojump and a _special replacement :D

so if someone plans to make an "standalone" ag like game. the only engine which can "keep" the original feeling is the quake 1 engine.

when i saw the trailer i though "WTF". Is this the GOLDSRC engine?
As for standalone AG game...

XASH3D: As far as I know at the moment its useless for multiplayer games as there is a lot to do with netcode.

id-tech family: There were some attempts to run half-life on quake 1 engine like https://github.com/autonomous1/quakelife . So it will not be really hard to run half-life on darkplaces(Xonotic) engine, or maybe even qfusion(Warsow). But apart of work on game code a lot of original half-life resources should be redone from scratch to make AG standalone game legal.


I did not tried Open AG yet, but if it is compatible with original AG mod and can be played on existing servers then... mr. YaLTeR I want to shake your hand. Great Job! Maybe your work will make possible the rebirth of AG.

Hey guys, great news!

Some of you might've already heard about this but..

A couple of weeks ago we found a Twitter account who we thought was BulliT. We weren't so sure about it, since he doesn't go by his nickname there, so we just asked if he was the guy who developed Adrenaline Gamer. Turns out it was actually him, and guess what, he offered to give us the source code for the mod! :w00t:

Fast forward to a few weeks later and here it is: https://github.com/martinwebrant/agmod

So yeah. Having the source code basically allows us to update pretty much everything, the servers, the client and what not.. Hopefully something good comes out of this.

If you're a coder or you know someone who is, now is your chance to contribute towards the rebirth of AG, we'll probably need as much help as we can get for this if we want to make it happen. :lol:

all is well, but I have 2 questions:

1. How to return cl_old_scoreboard 1, and it pisses me off this huge frame in full screen.

2. became uncomfortable when using alias on LJ, jump right 2 times. notably on stalkyard when jumping on boxes and lamps. Or how fix this alias.

bind "w" "+lj"
alias "+lj" "+duck;wait;+jump"
alias "-lj" "-jump;wait;-duck"

3. Found 1 more problem does not appear the list of maps on the server writes Unknown command: togglemapbrowser

This looks like C# and I know it's a lot like java so I shouldn't have too much problem. My problem is finding out which class files control what. ex- bunnyhop, netcode, etc

Can i suggest some things?
1.Pin this and remove the pin for the bitcoin server because its not alive (too much pinned stuff)
