Another update:

- Added the hud_color CVar.
- Added realnames support: loadauthid and unloadauthid commands.
- Made the voice status HUD display the name without the color tags.
- Made the countdown HUD disappear after a short while. This fixes it being stuck if agabort is issued during the agstart countdown.
- Added cl_forcemodel. It can "find" players by name, by Steam ID, by User ID, and when finding by name it can find by name with color tags, by name without color tags, and by matching the name partially (so you don't have to specify the full name, just any of its substrings), and if multiple names match it displays all of them so you can choose which one you want.

What do you guys think about a built-in autojump? Should it be added? Here's a poll.

As for autojump, would be really cool to have it so that I wouldn't have to downgrade to build 6027 just for that feature. Maybe something for duckrolling as well then? Or just add something like _special for such scripts, but yeah, anything works.

could you also bring an autobhop client as a hldm fix? HLDM doesn't really need any of the other fixes, but I think there are still many people who would benefit from such a thing.

Nope, I'm not. Actually I only started playing HL1 around the time HL21 was in progress (I continued the mod that they used with speedrun-related stuff, Bunnymod Pro). Before that I played a huge lot of HL2: DM (mainly jump maps and scripting servers). I did enjoy some CS surfing and whatnot from time to time back then though.

Think why, if you want make new ag, better use new engine , you want remake ag at old engine with Open source - its nothing changed it will be same ag with many cheaters. If you want make really good project you need use pro team and make game at new engine, when you finished this openAg, only you and your friends will play in this game, its will be same like was with hlPro or others stupid ideas. This game should make ag players or same.

I don't think you understand what this project is.

It's not a new or remade AG. The goal is not to fight cheaters but to fix clientside bugs and add some nice features. Also, you can join all current existing servers with OpenAG the same way you would in normal AG, nothing really changes here, as it's not a "new" mod/game.

Really what bugs you fixed!?You fixed ping/loss reg problem, and mp5/egon weapon bug!?This "project" beddest then originaly client.dll from ag , this more best categorry for cheaters. If you need change dll, you can use dll from bunnymod - this is work. It's same, but as you wish you can do it if you want, but my opion its waste of time.

Well first of all it fixes mouse acceleration that cannot be disabled otherwise in AG, also the mouse choppiness that you get unless you use RInput. Personally this is one of the biggest AG's issues for me, literally makes the game unplayable (because of accel that you can't turn off).
Then it also fixes the chat bugs, for example I can crash your game by just spamming a bunch of %l in the chat. Pretty sure you wouldn't like that, as well as anyone else. What if I used it in a tournament just to get an advantage over you?. There are a few others as well: realnames don't have lagspikes when you use it, color tags get hidden in voicechat and so on...

But on top of that, it also adds forcemodel and hopefully other new things in the future. That makes it already better than AG's default dll, don't you think?

Except it doesn't? The mouse input is still broken (mouse is skipping and is generally not as responsive as latest HL), you cannot see timer or votes, in fact, none of the HUD elements work. And it doesn't even fix the crashing bugs so it's literally worse than playing on the default AG's dll, why on earth would you want to use that?

Anyway, I probably won't change your opinion, so I agree, it's pointless to discuss it with you. The only thing I want to tell you is that you should atleast try it out before talking shit about it.

Fix the fps bug problems that would be a major one, and indeed add something to fight cheaters :naughty:

Although I reallize the first is pretty near impossible task and the latter would need ongoing time invested as the problem is a cat and mouse game.
nonetheless if nobody cares to waste time to create a new cheat for AG and you can think of a method to catch/block the general hl1 cheats then that is worth something.

if it possible we need change a system vote ! agpause command only taken from players who is in game !!!!!!!!!!!

For example game 2x2 and 1 afk so players want to stop, but 10 bitches on spectacors don't want to vote because masturbate or do sth other . We had this situation in last ehll game , Snatcher afk and waiting few minutes to pause coz spectacors afk too . LOL

As of now I don't think there are such plans.

If we were to make a serverside dll, every running server would have to be updated in order to play on them (I believe) and it would be a really rough transition. Might as well make a new mod then.

I noticed this mousebug years ago with julian. He fixed it in HLDM pro. in 2009 when hldm pro was in development we thought about to make an custom .dll to insert some graphical stuff like "picmip".

And before i forget. The "Crosshair in HLDM isnt 100% centered. Just try an "external crosshair hack2 and you will notice it. It isnt a sprite bug its a code bug.
